Before the 4 August primary each of the twelve candidates was asked the identical question: do you support an immediate Forestry hold at Nixon and Argonne? They were also invited to stand together under the oaks. Answers are published in the words they sent, in ballot order, nobody ranked. Twelve were asked and not two because Nixon Road is the Ward 1 / Ward 2 line on the city's own precinct map: four councilmembers share this right-of-way and none represents it alone. This table was closed at 9 pm on 4 August. Six of the twelve had answered; three said yes — Arends, Rabhi, Zeglen. No election result is reported on this page. None has been published.
